Create a brand in Content Canvas

Describe your brand in a few lines, answer the follow-up questions, then edit the brand profile, its platforms, accounts and media library.

Content Canvas plans posts from a brand profile: who you are, who you write for and how you sound. Open Content, then Content Canvas, and start with New Brand.

Create the brand

  1. Choose New Brand and fill in Tell us about your brand: what you offer, to whom and what makes you different. A few clear sentences work best.
  2. Choose Create Brand. SocialApp AI reads the description and writes a brand profile.
  3. If the description is too thin, Content Canvas asks a few questions first. Answer them and create the brand again.

Edit the profile

Brand Settings opens the profile in tabs: Brand, Tone of Voice, Core Value Pillars, Content Objectives, Directions (audiences, angles and themes), Hashtags and Guardrails (things to avoid, compliance and platform rules). Change anything that is not quite right; later ideas and posts follow the profile.

Platforms and accounts

Choose the Supported Platforms you write for and, for each one, the account its posts go to. Posts can then be scheduled straight to that account.

The brand's media

The brand has its own media library: images you upload (JPG, PNG or WebP) and, when the operator has set up Pexels, images you import from a Pexels search. Generating new images or videos is not available; Generate Images for all posts and Change Image say so.

Every brand is shared by the workspace. Anyone who can create posts can use Content Canvas.
