The MCP server for AI assistants
What the hosted MCP server lets an AI assistant do, the server address, the tools it offers, how scopes and roles limit them and the rate limit.
On this page
The MCP server lets an AI assistant that supports the Model Context Protocol work in your workspace: list your accounts, create posts and drafts, and read your queues, posts and analytics. It works on every plan and during the trial.
The server address
The address is shown in Settings, Security, on the AI Assistants (MCP) card as MCP Server URL: your SocialApp address followed by /api/mcp. Copy it into your assistant as a custom connector.
Tools
- UserInfo: who is connected, their role and workspace.
- AccountList and GroupList: the accounts and groups you reach.
- CreatePost and CreateDraft: share now, schedule, queue or save a draft. Business Profile events and offers cannot be created this way.
- DraftList and ViewDraft.
- AccountQueued, DeliveredPosts, ErrorPosts, UnscheduledPosts, PendingReviewPosts and ViewPost: the Manage Posts tabs.
- QueueTimes: an account's posting times and its next free times.
- AnalyticsSummary: an account's analytics for a range, from stored numbers.
What limits the assistant
The assistant sees only the tools your role and the connection's scopes allow, and acts as you: it reaches your accounts only, and your posts go through approval when yours would. When the app refuses something, the assistant gets the reason to tell you.
Each connection can make 120 calls a minute. Posts it creates are marked as made through MCP.
