API, MCP and extension
Share web pages with the browser extension
What the browser extension does in Chrome, Edge and Firefox, how sharing opens Create Post with your session, its options, and where to install it.
On this page
The browser extension shares what you are reading to Create Post: the page, a selection, an image or a link. It works in Chrome, Edge and Firefox and on every plan.
Install it
Open the Integrations menu in the header and choose the extension for your browser. Its page links to the browser's store once the listing is published; until then it says the listing is not published yet.
Share
- From the toolbar button: Create Post with the page's title and link, plus any text you selected, or Craft with AI to let AI Pilot write the caption first (one AI credit).
- From the right-click menu: share this page, the selected text, this image or this link.
- With the optional image button: a share button on images as you point at them.
Each share opens SocialApp in a small window, or a tab if you prefer, with Create Post filled in. You choose the accounts and schedule as usual. If you are signed out, you sign in first and continue where you were.
Options
- The address of your SocialApp, for example your white-label domain.
- Open in a window or a tab.
- The image button. It is off by default, because it needs access to every site you visit; switching it on asks for that access.
Privacy
The extension never signs in by itself, reads no cookies and stores no password or token. It sends a page's address, title, selection or image only when you share.
