Getting started
Use the calendar and the posting queue
See your posts, drafts and notes on the calendar, move them by drag and drop, set queue time slots per account and use Add To Queue, Share Next and Repeat Post.
The calendar shows your scheduled, pending and published posts, drafts that have a date, your notes and the holidays of the countries you choose.
Find your way around the calendar
- Open Calendar in the sidebar, or choose Day, Week or Month at the top of Manage Posts.
- Move between periods with the arrows. Today brings you back to the current period.
- Use Search a Post and Filter Posts to show only some accounts, groups, platforms, statuses or post types.
- Click a post, draft, note or holiday to see its details and actions.
Move posts
- Drag a post or draft to another day. In the month view it keeps its time; in the week and day views it takes the time of the slot you drop it on.
- With the keyboard, focus a post, press M, move it with the arrow keys and press Enter to drop it. Escape cancels.
- A post cannot be moved to a time that has passed.
- To check the date and time before every move, turn on the confirmation window in Calendar Settings (the gear icon).
Notes and holidays
- Use the + on a day to create a post or a note. A note can cover several days and has a colour.
- Choose the holiday countries in Calendar Settings. Holidays follow fixed rules; festivals set by the lunar calendar are not included.
Queue time slots
Every account has a weekly list of posting times, its queue. A new account starts with three times a day.
- Open Accounts, choose Edit on an account and open the Schedule tab.
- Tick the days, pick a time and choose Add. Remove a time with its x.
- Choose Save.
Select from Template copies a queue template into the account, Save as Template keeps the account's times as a new template and Clear Schedule removes every time. Manage your templates under Setup, Queue Templates.
Add To Queue, Share Next and Repeat Post
In Create Post, open the menu next to Schedule Post:
- Add To Queue puts the post in the next free time slot of each account.
- Share Next puts the post in the first time slot and moves the queued posts after it one slot later. Posts you scheduled for a fixed time never move.
- Repeat Post creates the post several times: a number of times within some days, or every day, week or month in a date range.
The Suggested Time panel in the scheduling windows lists upcoming queue times of the selected accounts, the least busy first.
