Account deletion and your data
Download your data before you leave
Download a backup of your users and teams, export reports and post tables as PDF or CSV, and save the content you want to keep before a deletion.
Before you delete an organisation or an account, keep what you need. SocialApp offers several ways to take your data with you.
Backup of users and teams
- Open Settings, then Data management (Owner).
- Choose Request backup.
- When the backup is ready, choose Download JSON.
The backup is a JSON file of your users and teams. Password hashes and sessions are never included.
Reports and analytics
- On an analytics page or a report, Share offers Download PDF and, for tables, Download CSV.
- Export CSV on an analytics page downloads the table of posts.
Posts and content
- Posts you want to reuse elsewhere can be copied from Manage Posts, or opened in Create Post with Duplicate.
- Library items and drafts are in SocialApp only; copy what you need before deleting.
Social accounts
Your posts stay on the social networks after you delete your account or organisation. Removing SocialApp's access in each network's own settings is also possible at any time.
If you cannot sign in to download anything, contact us from the e-mail address of the account.
