Team, clients and approvals

Share drafts with the team or keep them private

Choose between collaboration on drafts, where everyone can see and edit them, and private drafts that only their author can open.

Draft Sharing decides who can see the drafts of a workspace. Open Setup, then Draft Sharing.

The two modes

  • Enable Collaboration (the default): every team member sees every draft and can edit, schedule or delete it. Use it when drafts are passed between people.
  • Keep Drafts Private: a draft exists only for the person who wrote it. Nobody else, Owners and Admins included, can open, edit, move or schedule it.

What private drafts change

With private drafts, other people's drafts are left out of:

  • the Drafts list and its count in the sidebar;
  • the calendar, for drafts with a planned date;
  • the draft counts on the Tags page.

Switching back to collaboration shows every draft to the team again. Nothing is deleted when you switch.

Who can change it

Owners and Admins change the mode. Everyone can see which mode is on.

Drafts and access

Even with collaboration on, people see only the drafts of accounts they can reach. Clients do not see the team's drafts.
