Team, clients and approvals

Roles: Owner, Admin, Manager, Content Scheduler, Client

What each of the five roles can do, which permissions you can switch on per person, and which plans include team members and clients.

Every person in a workspace has one role. The role sets what they may do; per-account access sets where.

The roles

  • Owner: one per workspace, the person who created it. Everything, including subscription and billing and the workspace API key. Only the Owner makes someone an Admin. The Owner cannot be invited.
  • Admin: every account and every post, without access settings. Adds and manages users. Billing only with the Subscription & Billing permission. An Admin cannot change the Owner or other Admins.
  • Manager: the accounts they are linked to. Connects accounts, creates and edits posts, approves Content Schedulers' posts, manages groups and queue templates.
  • Content Scheduler: the accounts they are linked to. Creates posts that go to approval, changes only their own posts and comments. Cannot connect accounts.
  • Client: views and comments on linked accounts. You can also let a client Publish Post, Connect Accounts (of chosen platforms, up to a number) and Approve Posts.

Permissions per person

Besides the role, switch on per person: Analytics (view analytics), Social Inbox and Library Access. These also need to be on for each account in the person's access.

Plans

  • Essentials: one user, no team.
  • Standard: team members and approvals.
  • Premium and Ultimate: clients too.

Each person takes one seat, except a client without Publish Post, who does not count towards your users.
