Move your workspace to your own domain

What Migrate does, what it needs first, how sign-in changes for your team and clients afterwards, and how to undo it by deleting the domain.

Last updated 1 min read

Migrating moves your workspace to your own domain for good: from then on, everyone signs in to it at your address.

Before you migrate

  • The domain must be deployed: verified and pointing to the app.
  • The brand name and logo must be saved.

Migrate shows what is missing if either is not done.

What happens

  1. Choose Migrate in Settings, White Label and confirm.
  2. You are signed out and taken to the sign-in page on your domain.

After that:

  • Your workspace can be opened only on your domain. Signing in on SocialApp's own address no longer opens it; people who also belong to other workspaces still reach those there.
  • E-mails of your workspace link to your domain.
  • Social network connections keep working without reconnecting.

Connections

The migration offers a brand-neutral connection app as an option, but it is not available, so your accounts stay connected through the existing apps. Nothing needs to be reconnected.

Undo

Deleting the domain ends the migration: sign-in works on SocialApp's own address again. Only Owners and Admins can migrate or delete the domain.
