Control who can see and edit a library

Set Edit, View or No Access per role and per person on each library, and learn how a person's own access takes priority over their role.

Each library has its own access settings. Owners and Admins always edit every library; everyone else gets the access the library gives them.

Role access

In Add New Library or Edit Library, Role Access sets the access of each role:

  • Manager: View by default.
  • Content Scheduler: No Access by default.
  • Client: No Access by default.

User access

User Access gives one person their own access, whatever their role. User access takes priority over role access, so you can let one Content Scheduler edit a library that other schedulers cannot see.

To give several people access to several libraries at once, select the libraries and choose Grant Access, then search for the people by name or e-mail.

What each level allows

  • Edit: add, change, tag and delete items, rename and tag the library, and delete it.
  • View: see the items and use them in Create Post.
  • No Access: the library does not appear at all.

Only Owners and Admins change access, duplicate libraries and create new ones.

Members and the plan

The Library also needs the member's Library permission, which an Owner or Admin sets in Users. The Content Library is part of every plan; several libraries need Premium or Ultimate.
