Queues, calendar and time slots
Set the posting times of an account
Every account has a weekly queue of posting times in its own time zone. Learn the default schedule, how to edit it and how daylight saving is handled.
Each social account has a queue: a list of posting times for every day of the week. Posts you add to the queue take the next free time.
The default schedule
A newly connected account gets the workspace's default queue template when one is set. Otherwise it gets three times a day, the same every day: one between 08:00 and 09:00, one between 09:00 and 12:00 and one between 14:00 and 18:00. The exact minutes differ per account, so not every account posts at once.
Edit an account's times
- Open Accounts, choose Edit on the account and open the Schedule tab.
- Tick the days, pick a time and choose Add. Remove a time with its x.
- Choose Save.
Select from Template copies a queue template into the editor; nothing changes until you save. Save as Template keeps the account's times as a new template. Clear Schedule removes every time; posts can then no longer be added to that account's queue.
To give many accounts the same times, select them in the Accounts list and use Add Schedule.
Time zones and daylight saving
Times are read in the account's own time zone, set under Edit Account, or the workspace's time zone when the account has none.
When the clocks go forward and a time does not exist that day, the post goes out at the moved time. When the clocks go back and a time happens twice, the first one is used.
Owners, Admins and Managers with Manage access can change an account's times.
