Queues, calendar and time slots
Reuse posting times with queue templates
Save a weekly set of posting times as a template, apply it to many accounts, and choose a default template for every account you connect next.
A queue template is a named weekly schedule of posting times. Use templates when several accounts should post at the same times, for example all the Pages of one client.
Create a template
- Open Setup, then Queue Templates, and choose to create a template.
- Give it a name of up to 100 characters.
- Add at least one time on one day, then save.
You can also save an account's current times as a template from Edit Account, on the Schedule tab, with Save as Template.
Apply a template
- From the template list, apply a template to the accounts you choose. Their current times are replaced by the template's.
- From Edit Account, Select from Template copies a template into that account's editor, where you can still change it before saving.
Applying a template is a copy: changing the template later does not change the accounts.
The default template
Mark one template as the default. Every account connected after that starts with the default template's times instead of the generated three times a day. The default template cannot be deleted; make another template the default first.
Who can use templates
Owners, Admins and Managers manage and apply templates. Content Schedulers and clients do not see them.
