Reviews and listings
Get started with Reviews and its free trial
Reviews is a separate product with its own plans. Open it from the top bar, start the 14-day trial as the account owner and see what happens when it ends.
Reviews collects and answers the reviews of your business locations, asks customers for new reviews and keeps your business listings up to date. It is a separate product inside the same workspace and sign-in as SocialApp, with its own plans, its own trial and its own e-mail credits. Your social media plan does not include it.
The two products lock separately. When the social product is locked, Reviews keeps working, and when Reviews is locked, your posts keep going out.
Open Reviews
Use the Reviews + Listings tab at the top left, next to SocialApp; on a phone it is in the navigation menu. If Reviews is started and you have a Reviews role, it opens the Reviews Inbox, or for a client without the Reviews switch the first page open to them. Otherwise you see the trial page.
Reviews has its own menu:
- Locations: Manage Locations.
- Listings: Listing Publishers.
- Reputation: Reviews Inbox, Automate Replies, Review Platforms, Contacts, Review Requests, Campaign History, Widgets and QR Codes.
- Library: Review Request Templates, Review Reply Templates and Brand Context.
- Reports: Reviews Reports.
- Setup: Brands, Tags, Users, Integrations and Subscription.
The brand and location pickers at the top choose what most pages show. Quick Request at the top sends a review request from anywhere.
Start the trial
Only the account owner starts the trial:
- Open the Reviews + Listings tab.
- Choose Start Trial.
The trial is the Pro plan for 14 days with 100 e-mail credits. A workspace can start it once.
Other members see Request Trial, which opens an e-mail to the owner. Even after the trial starts, a member opens Reviews only once the owner or an Admin gives them a Reviews role. See Reviews roles and access.
Plans
| Starter | Pro (and the trial) | |
|---|---|---|
| Price | Free | Shown as a placeholder |
| Brands | 1 | No limit |
| Locations | 1 | 3 included |
| E-mail credits per 30-day cycle | 100 | 5,000 (100 during the trial) |
| Team members and clients | No | Yes |
| A brand's own sender address | No | Yes |
AI replies, Automate Replies, review request campaigns, widgets, QR codes, listings and reports are on both plans. The owner sees the plans in Setup > Subscription.
When something needs more than your Reviews plan allows, such as another location or brand, team members or a brand's own sender address, Reviews offers its own plans, never the SocialApp plans. The owner gets View Reviews plans, which opens Setup > Subscription; others are asked to contact the account owner.
The prices there are placeholders. Pro cannot be bought online yet: Upgrade to Pro asks you to contact support. Extra locations, credit bundles and automatic credit top-ups are shown as not available yet.
When the trial ends
Reviews is locked. Everything stays readable, but nothing can be changed or sent, and new reviews are not collected. Anything you try to change or send says that the trial has ended, and an ended trial has no e-mail credits. A notice offers a plan: the owner opens Setup > Subscription and chooses Choose Starter to continue for free.
Brands and locations beyond the Starter limits are marked locked. They stay readable and are never deleted; the first ones you created stay open.
What needs setting up
Some parts depend on the operator of your SocialApp installation, or on your own accounts:
- Google Business Profile reviews: Google's approval of the operator's app for the Business Profile APIs.
- Facebook recommendations: Meta's review of the operator's app.
- Autofill with Google: a Google Places API key set by the operator.
- AI replies: the operator's AI key, and the AI credits of your workspace.
- A brand's own sender address: an e-mail provider that verifies sender domains.
- Text messages: your own Twilio account.
Until each is in place, the page concerned says it is not configured.
