Quick review requests, templates and history

Send a review request at once with Quick Request, keep reusable messages as request templates and follow every request sent in Campaign History.

A quick request asks one customer, or a few hundred, for a review right away, without setting up a campaign first.

Send a quick request

Choose Quick Request at the top of Reviews, or select contacts in Contacts and choose Send Quick Request. The request is for the location chosen at the top.

  1. Under Recipients, choose Add New Contact (first name and an e-mail or phone number), Select Existing Contact (search and tick several), or Bulk Upload Contacts (a CSV file in the contacts format; Check File shows what can be sent).
  2. Under Send with, choose:
    • New request with template: Reviews makes a campaign from a request template you pick, and the first message goes out at once.
    • Add in existing campaign: the contacts join a live campaign of the location, and its first message goes out at once.
  3. Choose Send Request, or Send & Add More to send and start another.

The result shows how many were sent now and how many are queued. When the campaign pauses at once, for example because the e-mail credits are used up or no provider can send the message, the result says that nothing was sent and why. With a CSV file, the first 100 contacts get their message at once and the rest follow the campaign's sending window and daily limit.

Contacts inside the brand's Duplicate Request Prevention period are not sent anything; they are listed with the reason.

Preview in Campaign creates a draft campaign with the template and the contacts instead of sending. Nothing goes out until you launch it.

Request templates

Library > Review Request Templates keeps ready-made message sequences for campaigns and quick requests.

  1. Choose Create Template and enter a Template name.
  2. Under Available in, choose this brand or All Brands.
  3. Add 1 to 10 messages, each with its channel, the days to wait (0 to 60), a subject for e-mails and the text with fields and the review link.

Add fields with Custom Fields: a field typed by hand that is neither one of them nor the review link is refused when you save the template.

A campaign made from a template sends its review links to the location's default platform: the one in the brand's campaign defaults, or else its first connected platform. In a campaign, Choose Template replaces its workflow with a template's messages, and Save as Template keeps the campaign's messages as a new template. Deleting a template does not change the campaigns made from it. The feedback page option is not available yet.

Campaign History

Reputation > Campaign History lists every review request sent by campaigns and quick requests for the location.

  • Search by recipient or contact name.
  • Filter by Channel (Email, SMS), Status (Sent, Delivered, Opened, Bounced, Failed, Clicked) and Campaign.
  • Date range: the last 7, 15, 30 or 90 days, or a custom range up to 10 years back.

Each row shows when it was sent and to whom, the campaign, its status, who sent it (a quick request names the person; what a campaign sends on its own shows "Sent by the campaign") and, under Links, when the review link was clicked.

Download CSV saves the requests for one or more locations you choose, with the list's search, filters and date range. With several locations the status and campaign filters are left out (the search, channel and dates still apply), and the download window says so. The file writes dates like the screen, in the workspace's time zone, and the screen's words in English, such as Email, Clicked and "Sent by the campaign". Sending the history by e-mail is not available yet.

A client sends quick requests and sees Campaign History only when both their Contacts and Campaigns, QRs, Widgets & Forms switches are on.
