QR codes and tracked review links

Create QR codes that open a location's review page and can change target after printing, export or print them, and see clicks and opens from tracked links.

Last updated 2 min read

QR codes on desk tents, tables and receipts bring customers to a review page of the location. Review links in requests are tracked, so you can see who clicked.

Create a QR code

  1. Open Reputation > QR Codes for the location chosen at the top.
  2. Choose Create QR Code and enter a Name.
  3. Pick the Target Page: one of the location's review platforms, such as Google Business Profile, Facebook or a review site link. Add a platform first if the list is empty.
  4. Optionally Upload Logo, choose the Logo Size and the Background Colour.
  5. Choose Click to Generate to see the code, then save.

Export and print

Download the code as SVG or as an image, or choose Print. Printing opens a new window, so allow pop-ups for the site.

Change the target later

The code does not hold the review page address itself: it opens a short address of SocialApp that forwards to the target. You can change the Target Page at any time and printed codes follow the change. Duplicate makes a copy to edit.

The list counts the Scans of each code. Deleting a code stops every printed copy from working.

A target that shows a feedback form first is not available yet.

Every review link in a request e-mail or text message goes through a tracking address before it forwards to the review page. Reviews records:

  • Clicks: Campaign History shows when each link was clicked, and a campaign can unenroll a contact On clicking a link.
  • Opens of request e-mails, through a small image in the e-mail: the status Opened, and the unenroll rule On opening an email. Mail apps that block images do not report opens.

The campaign list shows the share of e-mails and text messages whose link was clicked.
