Connect Pinterest boards
Connect the Pinterest boards of your account, what an image, carousel or video pin can include, and why links in pins are never shortened.

In SocialApp, each Pinterest board is an account. After signing in to Pinterest you choose the boards to connect.
Connect boards
- Open Accounts, then Connect Account.
- On the Pinterest card, choose Connect Board.
- Sign in to Pinterest and allow the permissions.
- Tick the boards in the list and choose Connect Account.
If SocialApp says you have not created any board, create one in Pinterest first. The option shows Needs review until Pinterest has approved the app.
What a pin can include
- One image (an image pin), two to five images (one carousel pin) or one video (a video pin).
- A title of up to 100 characters, a destination link and alt text of up to 500 characters.
- A caption of up to 800 characters.
Images that are not JPG or PNG are sent through a temporary link that Pinterest downloads; you do not need to convert them.
Good to know
Links to Pinterest are never shortened, because Pinterest treats short links as spam. Published pins can be deleted from Pinterest. Pinterest has no analytics page in SocialApp.
